The general objectives of the research under way in my laboratory are 1) to find solutions to the challenges inherent in developing models to explain spatial and temporal variations in fish habitat quality in lakes and rivers and 2) to predict the effects of natural and anthropogenic disturbances on fish habitat quality and quantity.
